Managerial Skills Required for Library Professional to Generate Rural Library Sources and Finance

The following are the subsequent objectives: 1. To study the rural libraries in present seenario 2. To know about duty to profession 3. To identify the seven lamps of conduct and important skills required for the librarian 4. To study the managerial skill required for generating finance and source. Methodology For realising the objectives of any study data, it is required and in turn, for the collection of data, a field is selected to realise the objectives of the study to collect data required for the purpose, the researcher chooses managerial skills required for library professional to generate rural library sources and fianc. Method of data collection For collecting the data the researcher has prepared interview schedule for the users and distributed to them. The empirical research design and random sampling technique was applied to select the sample.100 questioners were distributed to the samples and 91 were received back. Out of the 91 samples taken from four rural libraries in Alangulam Taluk. RURAL LIBRARIES IN PRESENT SEENARIO The number of news papers available in the library is not sufficient. The required books are not available in the library. The required GK books are not available in the library. The number of reference books available in the library is inadequate. The number of periodicals available in the library is not sufficient. The furniture’s are uncomfortable in the rural libraries. The space of reading hall is very small. The parking facilities around the library are inadequate. The working hours of the rural library in convenient. The ventilation facilities are poor in the rural libraries.
