My Baby is 9 Months Should I Start Toilet Training Him
Q 3.My 18 month old is ready for toilet training as he indicates and trys to sit on the toilet, ( we have a seat which fits on the loo)but i'm due to go into hospital for an operation should I leave it until after.A3. Yes you shouldn't try toilet training if there are going to be any major changes in the family routine such as the arrival of a new baby, moving house etc. Children do not take to change very well so when everything is back to normal start then. Q4 My 2 year old daughter is scared to sit on the potty or toilet what shall i do I'm at my witts end and lossing my patience.A4.Children can pick up on your stress. Have a New book handy or one she hasn't seen before as it will be exciting and take her mind of it as you sit her down to take her mind off the initial sitting on, be really pleased as you do this but firm saying mummy will show you the book if you sit down.once she learns there is nothing to be scared of take her off and say oh dear you didnt do anything try again later. For this initital process its not about the actual toilet training but getting her over her fear, next time try a little longer and so on increasing the amount of time she sits down for, Praise her when she does her first wee give her a sticker and be over the moon and watch her face light up with glee.then its easy after the initial first wee.visit www.cheekychumsonline.co.uk for more free toilet training advice that works.or tel our freephone number 0800 121 6424About the Author:Qualified Baby and Early Years specialist.Owner of Cheeky Chums the Early Baby Store, Baby information plus more at http://www.cheekychumsonline.co.ukArticle Source: ArticlesBase.com - My Baby is 9 Months Should I Start Toilet Training Him

Decorative Christmas Wreaths and Holiday WreathsDecorative Christmas Wreaths and Holiday WreathsAuthor: Joe WillmethThe English word wreath comes from the old English word, writhen, meaning to writhe or to twist. Holiday wreaths have long been made by twisting or bending evergreen branches into a circular shape. The ancient Greeks, and Romans, used evergreen leaves and garlands to make headdresses that were awarded as prizes to Olympic athletes, military hero's, kings and others. Athletes received wreaths of Laurel, military hero's received wreaths made from olive branches. Members of the aristocracy began adding jewels and precious metals to these headdresses, creating what became the Crown. |
