They should be used to cover the flames, depriving them of oxygen, which fires need.Other Fire equipmentThere are a wide range of other fire equipment including items for fire marshals such as torches, his visibility clothing and loud hailers to get people’s attention to guide them to safety. There is also emergency exit equipment such as fire escape ladders that can attach to an open window to provide an escape route.
