China's 300 million netizens celebrated the first festival of their ownAuthor: lidongqunAccording to China Tencent Technology News?at 9:14 on September 14, 2009, Internet users from coast to coast gathered in the highest landmark of Beijing - the Central Tower to celebrate the "First Chinese netizens Cultural Festival celebrations". Chairman of China Internet Society Hu Qiheng; "Father of the Internet in Germany" Werner with his wife; U.S. experts in the field of research Internet users, Ms. Ronda Hauben with her husband; chief scientist Professor of Chinese Academy of Sciences Computer Network Information Center, Qian Hualin, China Internet Association Vice chairman and general secretary Huang Chengqing; the Ministry of Culture, deputy director of market management Tuo Zuhai as well as other social sectors and corporate guests attended the ceremony to enjoy festival with the Chinese netizens. Hu Qiheng, chairman of China Internet Society, first read the "letter addressed to 300 million Chinese Internet users". The letter said, to build a platform for exchanging and displaying for users and demonstrate an active and healthy network culture is one of the deep responsibilities of China Internet Society; which is also the fundamental purpose of the festival. Hu Qiheng delivered his sincere wishes that the festival will be able to appeal energy-efficient care from the majority users and they can well manage their own festival.
