Real Arcade's 30 Day Trial ReviewAuthor: Darrell BanksTHE OFFER Real Arcade is offering a 30 Day trial to their "Gamepass" program, allowing you to get 2 free games worth up to 20 bucks even if you don't continue. After the free 30 day trial, it goes to $9.99 a month. THE TRUTH? Well, sort of. It turns out you do get a free game which is totally awesome. I chose Monopoly, which in fact is an excellent PC game. However, the second game can only be downloaded on the last day of your 30 day trial, which is pretty lame. Still, it is totally worth the first free game anyway, since it took absolutely no money to start : ) THE SIGN UP The sign up process was very simple, and took me about 7 minutes all together. They did require me to create an account with them, and download the actual Real Arcade program which cost me 470kb of hard drive space. Small price to pay for the reward I suppose. I did also have to provide them with a credit/debit card number, but I'm broke and they didn't seem to care that there was only about $0.75 on the card. E-mail responses were timely and accurate, and contained all the details you'll need for your account. THE PRODUCT Monopoly is the greatest board game ever invented. The guys at Real Arcade have a smooth interface, with very - I repeat - very high quality games. Monopoly runs like a dream on my computer and you can tell that they take their time to make sure the games you play are good ones. I seriously played my free Monopoly game for hours with my roommate, and still can't believe these people just let me have it.
