Avoid this limbo: spend some time thinking about what inspires you in life. The most successful business is the one that is built on what you care about. If you've heard the "find your passion" line before and felt like it was being rubbed in your face, you are not the first. Often this advice is presented as if figuring it all out is easy. Anxiety and uncertainty over where to begin can be crippling.
You don't have to have your epiphany in 10 minutes or less. Take a deep breath and give yourself a break. Set aside some time to brainstorm. Don't force ideas to happen without giving them breathing room; give your mind some space.
Find a moment for yourself and eliminate stress and distraction. Write down the things that inspire you and give you your drive. You can start out with loose concepts. Limiting yourself to specifics first can kill ideas before they get started. After you have written out some broader concepts, start to narrow them down. If you could do something every day, what would it be? What would you be excited to wake up and accomplish every day? Don't just think of something tolerable.
