It seems to me that we are going through a major shift in the way marketing is performed. In this discussion, I am going to explain some of the factual reasons why this is occurring and then give you some of my perceptive ideas about this current industry revolution. First let us discuss some of the factual reasons. 1. There are many of us in the work force that are tired of the one or two hours of commuting to and from work each day with the loss of time that can never be recovered. In many of us this adds to a level of stress giving to depression or anger because we would rather be spending that valuable time doing other things expecially quality time with our family. 2. With the current increase in transportation costs that our society is enduring, this leads to an another stress factor affecting our personal budgets. Not only is the price of gasoline at the pumps a factor, but the mass transit systems are having to eliminate some of their routes besides increasing the cost of fares.
3.There are many of us who work in the corporate world who would prefer to eliminate some of the uncomfortable arenas that are required of us.
